He also holds the following professional qualifications: Assessor Training Course; Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Lead Auditors’ Course; Executive Diploma in Business Leadership; Post-Graduate Diploma in Education; Further Education Teachers’ Diploma; and Diploma in Biblical Studies and Christian Leadership. 

Dr. Chitakira’s research area broadly entails environmental management with a special interest in integrated production and conservation landscape management, climate-smart agriculture, sustainable livelihoods, gender and the environment, and environmental policy issues.

 

Dr. Chitakira has published several book chapters, manuscripts in internationally recognized peer-reviewed journals and articles in conference proceedings. Dr. Chitakira has made several oral and poster presentations at national and international conferences, most of which were interdisciplinary. Dr. Chitakira has extensive experience as a facilitator for manpower development courses as well as postgraduate students supervision.
